Logden Lodge Policies

Our Rates

All rates are quoted in Candian dollars and subject to federal and provincial taxes (13% for accommodation, 12% for extra's).

All rates are per cabin per night, based on double occupancy. The rate for any additional guests over two per cabin, including children, is CA$45 per person/night. Infants and small children sleeping in their own cots (not provided) stay for free. Provision of fresh linens & towels, wifi and all firewood is included.

Special rates may apply for National & Provincial Holidays, please check our cabin info pages or online reservation system for up-to-date prices. 

We may have special rates for Extended stays, Group bookings, Retreats & Corporate events: Please contact us for further information.

All Rates, including Promotions, Discounts, Specials, Packages and season dates may be subject to change at any time. Such will be reflected in our online reservation system.

Reservations

Your reservation is can only be confirmed upon receipt by email of your booking confirmation generated by our online reservation system or verbally via telephone. No reservations can be confirmed without prior provision of your credit card details for verification purposes. All credit cards used for reservations should carry an expiry date extending at least up to the date of your departure. Logden Lodge reserves the right to offer a different cabin than the one originally booked for part or the entirety of your stay.

Cancellation & Deposits

We realize that changes in your travel plans might occur and you may need to cancel (parts of) your stay. As a small business, this affects us greatly hence as much notice as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Regular season rate bookings: No deposits required. For any cancellations up to 30 days prior to your arrival a CA$100 cancellation fee per cabin will be applied. Cancellations between 15 to 30 days prior to arrival will incur a first night charge. Any cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival come with a full charge.

Season's Holidays Bookings (20 Dec - 1 Jan, incl.):

Deposit / Cancellation fee: 25% for bookings made / cancelled 60 or more days prior to arrival.

Deposit / Cancellation fee: 50% for bookings made / cancelled between 60 and 30 days prior to arrival.

Deposit / Cancellation fee: 100% for bookings made / cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival.


Under all circumstances a full charge applies for non-arrival without prior notification, late arrival or early departure.

Covid-19 related cancellations:

  • In case of any federal and/or provincial government mandated travel bans: Free cancellation (except in case of the 3rd bullet below).
  • In case of any federal and/or provincial government mandated travel advisories: Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date (except in case of the 3rd bullet below). Within 30 days or less, our regular cancellation policy applies. 
  • Travel bans, advisories and/or social gathering restrictions can not be accepted as grounds for free cancellation for any bookings made whilst same travel bans, advisories and/or social gathering restrictions were in effect.
  • Any other reasons (incl. any personal covid related issues): regular cancellation policy applies.

As we can not make any exception to aforementioned policies we strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate holiday insurance to cover any eventualities, including covid-related.


Check in & out

Our covid-19 adjusted check-in and check-out times are 4.00 p.m. and 10.00 a.m. respectively. Given the necessary measures to be taken between cabin turn-over we unfortunately can longer accommodate an early check-in or late check-out.

Children

We are a family freindly establishment and warmly welcome children of all ages to stay at Logden Lodge. Please do keep in mind that our property and cabins are situated in a wilderness environment. We strongly advise not to leave small children unattended.

Pets

We welcome well-behaved pets in three of our four cabins (Heritage cabin excluded). An additional fee of $15 per pet / per night applies, with a maximum of $125 per stay. An additional charge may be levied for extra cleaning and/or damage at management discretion. 

Kindly, do treat our property and carefully decorated cabins as your home when you bring your pet. Pets are not to be left unaccompanied in the cabins at any time unless housed in their own crate. When outside, we advise to keep your pets close to you, for their own protection and for that of local wildlife. Kindly respect feelings of other guests towards pets. Others might feel less comfortable in the closeness of an animal and are here to enjoy the quietness also. 

Phone & Internet

We do offer telephone and wireless internet access in each of our cabins just in case the quiet gets the better of you.

Cellphones: we do have coverage but signal strength may be weaker than usual and vary with particular location and weather conditions.

Internet: All cabins are provided with free wireless internet connection (no ethernet).

Landline: All local & long distance calls are free of charge. Additional charges apply for international calls.

Vehicles & motorized recreation

To keep with “the nature of things”, anything hi-tech or motorized is being kept to the bare minimum. No motorized recreation is available on the property. However, we gladly arrange the use of such facilities, both summer and winter pending availability, to explore the wider area. 

No vehicle access to the cabins. A parking area is available for all guests arriving by vehicle – the cabins are accessible by walking paths only.

Hunting

We do not accommodate hunting on the Logden Lodge property. However, we gladly inquire about hunting possibilities in the wider area for you. Please call in advance, Canada BC has strict regulations with regard to obtaining hunting licenses and related matters.

Cleanliness & Damages

The guest shall, at his/her expense, and throughout the period of the rental, keep the property in a state of cleanliness and in good condition and repair. The guest acknowledges that at commencement of the rental, the property is in good repair except for any defect the guest may report to the owner during the first 6 hours after check-in.

The guest shall leave the property in good repair and reasonable state of cleanliness and accepts that the costs of any unreasonable damage / uncleanliness caused by the guest, as well as any further loss resulting thereof, including but not limited to, loss of rental income, will be charged to the guest making the reservation. Extra cleaning will be charged at $37.50 per hour. Damages will be charged at cost of replacement, incl. parts, labour and applicable taxes, or replacement / fair market value where replacement is impossible.

Liability

Logden Lodge and its property is located in a mountain and natural wilderness area. Certain risks, dangers and hazards are normally associated with such an environment. Logden Lodge can not and does not accept any liability for any harm or loss resulting from such risks.

The guest acknowledges that the use of the property is entirely at the guest's own risk. The guest shall indemnify and save harmless the owners against and from any and all expenses, costs, damages, suits, actions or liabilities arising from any and all loss of or damage to personal property, injury or death resulting from the use of the rental property.

Changes to Logden Lodge Policies

Logden Lodge retains the right to change any of the aforementioned policies in any way and at any time, without further obligation to inform guests of such changes other than posting the revised policies on the Logden Lodge website.
