Bring your four-legged friend along
BY ISABELLE HERZIG
Our property offers your dog 40 plus acres of endless nature to walk and sniff and roll around in. Our quaint and quiet community of Ymir also offers nature at its best. With untouched cross country trails, back country skiing, snow shoeing out your cabin door, and quiet forested country roads to walk down and streams to jump into, this will be an adventure your dog will never forget, and neither will you.
At Christmas I had to say goodbye to my companion and most amazing dog Buddy. After 17 adventure filled years, we took him for his last walk by the river and he passed away. In the weeks since I have looked back on his life and realized that we took him everywhere. He skied with my husband in the deep back country and took lines most of our friends could not commit to. He’s ridden out avalanches, ran down mountains leaving bikers in his dust, and jumped into rivers to drag out logs. We snuck him into hotels and knowingly hiked with him through “dog free” provincial parks. He’s protected me from bears, and yes even a cougar. He was part of our family.
Logden Lodge knows your dog is part of your family too!
We have kept one of our cabins, Elise Cabin, as a “pet free cabin” so those with allergies or sensitivities can rest easy, in our other three cabins your pet is more than welcome!
An additional fee of $15 per pet / per night applies, with a maximum of $50 per stay (no limit to the size/weight). An additional charge may be levied for extra cleaning and/or damage at management discretion. There is a maximum of two pets per stay. We request that pets not be left unaccompanied in the cabins.
